2305 Curtis cab

Rethink Curtis. Curved, tempered glass windshield. Broke mine blowing snow when a rock bounced back off a tree. $390 plus $90 freight. Can't buy one from glass supplier. Has to come from Curtis. 4X8 sheet of Lexon for about $90 will make two windshield if you want to go throught the layout hassle. Don't forget the safety glasses when blowing.

Just checked Original cab website There hard top cab is $750.00 , glass windshield is 175, and electric wiper is 175.00
Shipping is $32 , 16, and 7 for above items

I can tell you that you do not need the glass window or the wiper if you are using it for snowblowing. The front window is tilted inwards so nothing collects on it. Next to the snowblwoer, it is the best money that I have spent on my 455.

Man wish I would have got my order in on a sold unit just yesterday before yours :) Just placed order for a 2305 soft side and ship date is 30 Oct.

Chipsndust -- Did you order the soft or hard cab? Just curious how long the wait is right now for a Hard cab as I am ording one this weekend.

Can't wait to snowblow this year in shorts and a T-Shirt....No more "Mr Snowman" comments from the wife anymore :)

Won't be long now! Dealer called today, and picked up my 2305 to put the Curtis soft cab on it.
So, lead time was 3 weeks for soft cab (Ordered 10/1, arrived at dealer 10/21.).

You will like the curtis soft cab. I have it on my 4210 with all the bells and whistles.... Heat, am/fm/cd, upfitter switches, etc.... But I cannot knock the Original Tractor Cab on my 455. For the money, it can not be beat....

Got my tractor back today, with cab and heater installed.
I know you guys like pictures, so here they are.

Just need to adjust the front work lights and add a rear worklight.

Looks great I'll wager you will appreciate the heater this winter, should be way better than OS in the cold.

Hi chipsndust

Looks great :) I have a hardsided cab for my 2320 on order. They said it should arrive by the end of Oct. So...soon enough I'll have my cab. :)

Question. I know my tractor is slightly different and the cab was different than the 2305, but how do you like it so far? Cramped? Shoulders, headroom, legroom etc? Blindspots? How is backing up?

I am a 6'0 300 pound guy and I fear I will be in a sardine can...BUT...I really need this to get out of the snow in the winter. All my life I have never complained about snow/cold, but after the snowblower turns you into a snowman....I needed to do something about it :)

Look forward to your initial review.

Thanks,
BILL
