Cub/Yanmar SC2400 or Kubota BX2660?

Wow I also am tractor shopping and to say the least , It's confusing!
I had a CC sc2400 quoted here for 18500 with loader, a comparable MF 2400 was 14900 with loader, BX 2660 16700 with loader, Mccormick CTJ23 16500 with loader and rear remote valve, JD 2305 with loader 17500, BX2360 with loader 15500. These are all Canadian prices.
Does anyone know if the Mccormick is CUT or SCUT dealer says SCUT, but it looks physically like a CUT.
Right now the MF looks like the best deal, any comments?

I'm a complete n00b at tractors, but in my search I'm looking at the important things and also the little stuff. Overall, the CC/Ys looked pretty good, but what bothers me is how some of the wiring is done. Take a look at how the wiring enters the rear lights. On the machines I looked at, the wiring had a little tape going around it, then an unprotected/unreinforced part goes into the light fixture. In time, the insulation could wear through from vibration, then short out and cause problems. I know. . . . not a biggie, but just an observation of something that could have easily been done a lot better to avoid future problems.

Well I believe the MF's to be good machines, given their long existence in the biz.My nieghbor has a GC 2300 and has never had a problem with it and seems to be quite capable. I'm not here to put any machine ahead of the other, I just want the best machine for the buck.
The MF dealer is the same as the Kubota dealer,who also sell Fendt.
JD is stand alone dealer,
The Mccormick dealer also sells CC, Landini, and Kioti.
All are within 10 mins of here.

cub cadet/yanmar also make a sc2450 which is a much heavier version of the sc2400, weighs 1200 pounds more than the sc2400. they beefed it up to handle a backhoe better.

18500 for the 2400 is way to high, try a diffrent dealer.

I cannot afford the CC, they are priced like 4000 more than a MF GC 2400 with same equipment. 3000 more than BX2360, doesn't make sense, I thought that the newer cubs would be less expensive to get sales moving. They do have some good features that others don't, but it doesn't justify that big a difference in price IMO. Also there is a big difference in financing, CC offers 0% for 3 yrs, Kubota 0% for 5 yrs, and MF 0% for 6 yrs.

The dealer probably makes about the same on either machine. Since he sells them both just ask him which one he would buy if he were buying. Course you know this is the Kubota forum and most of having faced the same decision have chosen Kubota and to back up our decision to be the wisest one are going to lean toward Kubota.

Funny thing happened today, I went for a ride and stopped in at the mccormick/kioti/landini/cub dealer today, and he offered me a sales position.
I'm actually considering it really hard. I am currently delivering furniture for a living, and have been looking for something better.
What do you guys think

Throwing my two cents in, I was seriously looking at a JD and MF. Never considered a Kubota. Found this site and ask for opinions like you and got great advice. I finally went with a BX 2660 and have not regretted it for a minute. But what really made my mine up is I have a friend that has 3 Kubotas that he uses in his business. His help treat and run them like rented mules and they have held up and really look great. I figured if they could not tear up a Kubota there was no way I would ever do it.
