Well I am glad I am not the only one who can't take the whining of today's country music:thumbsup:
Got a lot of nice leads out of this thread - let me throw some names in here:
Rodney Carrington - adult content most of the time, but it makes my laugh
Da Yoopers - anybody knows?
This "Rodney Carrington" is another example of the changes of peoples interest these days, my son (30-years old) came in one day and asked that I check out this new comedian, so I tuned him in from youtube and must say I was not much amused by his type of humor, I thought he was revoking actually and would not like to had watch or listen to him while in mixed company, I'm not sure as to what happen over the previous generations and or why a Man would want to take his girlfriend/wife out to watch or listen to people like this Rodney C.?
I suspect would be the lack of or little less respect these days for their lady friends,
I was raised up in the 60's& 70's listening to people like Ray Stevens and the Jerry Clower Power hour or the Corney Comedians from HeeHaw Show,
Jerry Clower and all the other comedians from back then could be listened by any member of the family without worry of your children hearing inappropriate punchlines, although sometimes Old Clower
would push it over the top but you'd have to been an adult to know what he was meaning by what he said

this one is about as over the top as Ol-Jerry would go
YouTube - Jerry Clower - A New Bull
Like I said times have changed and the younger generations have need for a different style of entertainment, I can't help but to think what my 3 & 5 year old grandchildren are going to be subjected to in their future:confused2:
