Buying Advice L35 Backhoe

   / L35 Backhoe #11
The L35 was built for a rental yard so its living life like it should. Nice thing with L35 it that its near impossible to tear up the transmission as it is hydraulic shift. If you have a use for it and all seems good when you use it go for it. See if it has the 3pt arms.

Thanks for the heads-up on the search site!

If I recall correctly the 3pt arms are stored under the floor either on the drivers side or passenger.... Not sure if it was the L35 or the L48 but one of them did this....

Can't say there have been many passengers on my L48 (but I know what you mean).

Also, the lift links and top link are stored on the left (driver's) side of the FEL pillar. The arms are under the floorboard along the frame with a special mount for them. They can be seen from the side of the tractor so are not really "under". They come right off without tools.

Some friends of mine have that same tractor. It's a pretty incredible machine and very tough. They have basically abused it by not maintaining the oil and grease and used it pretty hard over the years. They are terrible at maintaining it and beat the crap out of it but it still sounds and runs like clockwork. Still it only has 500 hours on it but its a very hard 500 hours sitting outside. Offer him 11 or 12.

He is holding it for me until it drys up some . It also has been sitting for 6 months , so he is going to service it , before I rent it . I want to give $12,000 for it with the 3 point hitch . Wish me luck !

I am also looking at a l-35, the one that I am looking at is newer and has many attachments / features like hydraulic thumb, front snow plow, blower, ect. but the price does reflect at 22,000. I think 14,000 would be a great price if it's in good condition.
