I'd like to have a good big finger break. Something that would handle 4 feet of sixteen gauge steel at least.

You must mean a "Box & Pan Brake".......I have a 4 footer Pexto IIRC.....

A Bridgeport, metal lathe, surface grinder. Problem I see, is by the time I can afford things, I don't need them as much. With the price of metal being pretty high, metalworking projects usually aren't practical.

i learned how to cast aluminum and with that talent u can take almost anything and make it work. if i need a 5 inch round stock then i just cast it and clean it up on the lathe then make whatever. also make any pattern., cant help with steel but i havent had trouble getting scrap layin around to make what ever is needed

I bought my first 4-n-1 screwdriver for $11.00. Found 2 for $5 each. Found 10 for $1.25. Found 130 for 80 cents each. They are all top quality and look alike.
I give them away to people I get along with. I think I still have 134.

The skill to use the the tools I have and not covet the guys and gals who do know how to use their tools. Amazing how many tools I buy and how little the quality of my work improves.
