Ron, I do wonder how it could be programmed that you're getting one and not the others and I'm getting zero.:confused:

I don't know Bird. Maybe Adm is not reading this thread anymore. Off working on another problem. This is the only thread update I got this morning. No forum updates.

How many should you guys have gotten (ie: how many unread threads had "instant" next to them as I mentioned above)?

Aaron, I did have bunch of subscribed threads; all marked for instant, but since I'm not getting any e-mails anyway from TBN, I "cleaned house" and only have 10 now.;)

We're using a mailer that's supposed to send these out. I think we need your email addresses again to check to see if they're reporting bounces so we can maybe find out why.

We keep trying to find the right balance with an email server that can actually send mail to all domains, and we haven't had much luck.

We made a tiny change... I do not know if this is going to lead to a fix with the email. But this hopefully will lead to a fix with the slow-down when replying to a thread.

They were related... sort of. It's one of those things that you suspect might be affecting each other, but might also just not be at all.

Appears to have worked. Got 5 thread updates and 13 forum updates. Slowdown on thread posting is faster this morning.

As of 11 am today I stopped getting Updates! I went to "my home" and checked, I should have got about 13 or 14 of them!

As of this 5 am 3/12 I should have had 6 updayes

This is pretty frustrating. I work for AT&T and have offered my help in getting TBN off the black lists..which I had to do a year ago. I keep offering my contacts, but they have not taken me up on asking for assistance.

I wonder if the advertisers know that the users here are not getting email notifications and channelling them back to the website where they can see the ads.

I did not recive any all weekend and none this morning. I checked in my home under subscription and there should have been many each day!

Your still in the dark? Might want to try switching email providers to see if it helps.

Or try setting up an alternate email account for your TBN notifications, and forwarding the mail it receives to your normal email. I've done this using a Gmail account forwarded to my regular Hotmail.

Both are free, and as far as I know I'm getting all my updates.

It's not hard to do.

that's not such an easy thing to do! 1, it may be that your email comes as part of your paid internet connection.. and 2, while there are free services out there.. i find those free ones have the most problems with spam!

if you have had yer email for years or decades.. like I have. just running out and changing it at the drop of a hat is not a good idea. 20 ys of contacts to deal with?
