and the 60 year old woman walks around in a ****** top all the time.

You see here is the deal, when I was in my 20's I thought 40 to 50 year old women looked kinda old and used up.. Now see I am in my late 50's and those 40 to 50 year old girls look like real "babes" to me.
So if you were 70 lets say.. you might think miss 60 year old looked pretty "hot" in her ******. It is all relative.:D

I'm curious about them "Ghetto" neighbours and how one family becomes a "Getto" ??:)

I was a Getto dweller once. Built a basement, lived in that till The rest of the house could be finished! Quite a few other folks in the area did the same thing. Course the no mortgage was kinda nice.

Ya its a long story. Short version is we don't like them, and don't want to have to look at them everyday. I understand that straw bales can be done nicely if you do it right. However this seems not to be the case, and the 60 year old woman walks around in a ****** top all the time.

So fence it is. It will be nice to have over 3 acres totally enclosed and private. Now im going to go back to my 2700 fence boards

I can sure understand that; well maybe not the 60 year old woman as I am in my 60's, but not wanting to see your neighbors and I do treasure my privacy; even wish I had more now and my nearest neighbor is 1/4 mile away.

James, I'm even older than you and my wife is in her 60's still looks pretty good though you won't catch her in a ******. It is all relative, I remember going to a friend's last meeting before his retirement. He had been around s long his retirement check was going to be higher than his salary. We were standing by the doorway when I noticed a faraway look in his eye. He was looking at one of our Clerical Supervisors and he looked up with a wistful smile and said something to the effect of, "If someone had ever told me I would be looking at and get turned on by a grandmother in her fifties, I would never have believed it."

It took me back to as time when I was training a couple of new female Officers and we were having a lunch. The Prosecuting Attorney walked in with the Judge and some other lawyers and one of the Officers said, "he sure is cute", the other said "yeah, but I bet he is at least thirty." I said, hey, I'm thirty; both looked at me and said, "we know", talk about a kick to the old ego.:laughing:

As you said it is all relevant.

I've thought the same thing, but I would probably pose some sort of threat to society if I had.:laughing:

Fences and distance make great neighbors.

Indeed. The OP may find that the neighbors aren't that bad now that he doesn't have to looks at them. I live in a straw house and no neighbors can see my place so my wife and I can dress however we like or not at all.

We don't have any homes adjacent to our property where we live. If I want to, I can take a PI*S off either the front or back deck. When we lived in Florida, we had our home on a cul-de-sac with seven adjacent homes. One must learn to co-exist with one another. I respect the OP's needs. I do wish to state one very important fact, and in doing so, it is not my attention to place judgment on the way people choose to live or the methods they undertake to alienate or distance themselves from their neighbors. But, the fact remains, that we as Humans should learn and discover better methods to coexist, than to isolate one's self behind a fence. Just a thought?

Sometimes the fence makes it easier to coexist. I'm most likely a somewhat ghetto neighbor. My place is messy. I have opinions that my neighbors disagree with. But see, we get along because they can't see my place, I'm polite when we meet, I'm careful about sharing my opinion and I'm quiet so that it is easy to forget that I'm there. I'll help when help is needed but generally I mind my own business. Now if my neighbors had to stare at my disorder we might not get along.

Actually, by definition, it's now the OP who is the ghetto neighbor, by fencing himself in. Regards, Mike
