I've got ball caps for almost all the equipment, toys and tools I own, and never wore ANY of them... Well, except maybe Perazzi that I used to wear from time to time. I make a poor rolling advertisement! LOL
Ironnut,
I am not sure if your date is reflecting correctly, but the FIRST post was in 2010, and the last one in the sticky, just a few days ago. We post when we have something to update or announce, not just for banter. I comment almost daily here though in other threads. We ARE and HAVE been active contributors and supporters of this forum, for a while now. Please let us know how we can help you.
Gumshu,
IF you want the 300 we can make it happen. Forget about amazon, because you don't get a discount there for tbn. But you're going to need to double the size of that 30 amp breaker you were talking about yesterday. You'll need to go to that heavier gauge then. Same as with the 250stickweld from our competitor...I can promise you the 300 won't disappoint against anyone's machine...our competitor here included.
Hey Gordon, you can always cancel that order with Amazon (like I've done before) and place it through Mark. Mark had my machine on the way as soon as I hung up the phone... with an email confirmation and ups tracking number. Like I said, he's "Johny on the spot." You can't beat a direct sale.Mark,
Well I guess I screwed up. I used Amazon last Saturday to purchase the PowerTig 250ex. Supposedly it is to ship today as we have a UPS tracking number.

I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination, but what I have found with my Lincoln V350-Pro is turn the arc force to 0.0 when welding with 6010. This gives me the stack of dimes look with out even trying. For open root pipe welding, and vertical up with 7018 I run the arc force at +9.5.I think my 6010 welding is better with the Everlast than it was with the Thunderbolt, though, even with the ARC force adjustment turned to max I still experience loss of the arc (but restarting is fairly easy).

Here is a 6010 weld I made when I first got my Everlast PA-200.
