Ouch! 19 hours on 3320 that was "ordered"?

I'd be tempted to try to negotiate a very deep discount and ensure the warranty start date is date of contract.

2010 tractors didn't have any type of emission standards applied and to me that is worth quite a bit.

But it would have to be a very deep discount.

Just curious. Is the 3320 a popular model? If so, why would a dealer keep it in inventory for so long?

Some regions sell truckloads. Some sit for years. 19 hours over three years starts to sound like "the red-headed stepchild". Always in the way. Nobody wants it. Hard to say if it was a demo gone bad, or just racked up those hours getting shuffled around the lot. Any way you slice it, three years old and 19 hours should represent a large discount. I would have refused delivery (yeah I know how excited you were to finally get it).

Call your JD area Rep. Get them involved pronto. Better yet I'd walk away. That's a bad situation.

The sales guy sent an email saying he explained the situation to his boss. Said to use the tractor until a new unit can be delivered. They will deliver the new unit and switch the loader from the 2010 model to the new one. When I talked to him this morning, he was clearly embarrassed about the situation.

I will make sure this one has the equipment I ordered and is a NEW unit. Would it be unreasonable for me to ask for a tech manual, fill the tires or receive rear-wheel weights, oils/filters & grease for 50 hour service, or ??? Anything else you would ask for?

Thanks for the guidance & experience of the TBN family.

My 3520 had .5 hours on it when I received it. sure sounds to me like this thing was on a lot somewhere and your dealer just dealer traded for it. I ordered mine because I didn't want a machine that had been sitting outside.

What did they do drive the tractor from one dealer to the other, mine had only .7 hours on it

I bought my Kubota L4400 a little over two years ago. I personally saw the Techs assemble the Tractor and run the tests. There was .2 - 2 tenths of an hour on the meter.

I'm not sure if the deeres are like the kubotas but thats about halfway to a very expensive all inclusive oil change and filter swap. I'd ask them to either throw in the materials or meet you half way. $Filters alone for the 50 hour break in were $75 for that tractor your probably looking at a few hundred dollars in oil. I had $290 in trans fluid alone for my 50 hour service plus engine and gear oil for the front axle

I think it would be a fair request to load the tires or do a 50hr service on the house for your inconvenience. And worst they could do is say no.

You should of had them include the supplies for the 50 hour service from the start.

That's great that they are coming through with a new tractor for you. I'd think that a service manual or a set of filters are probably pretty low cost items they may be happy to throw in to boost your satisfaction. Certainly wouldn't hurt to ask for a little something.
