Looks good real good you did well on that buy. A 95 pto hp tractor with MFD and cab all for $4000... would have been a good deal at 5000 hrs never mind 800hrs. That's quite the bale fork you got at the back there how heavy are your bales as that would be a load if their big heavy ones. I thought your 3pt was not functional?

I see you supported the loader properly with a brace going to the rear axle. Some guys rigged them up with nothing to the rear and then had issues down the road . What kind of loader is that looks a bit like an Ezee On 100 loader or maybe Leon? Looks heavier then then what I got on mine. I have a Ezee On 90 on mine and its a bit light.

Just a note I see that one has the original rims and 5 stud hubs on the front. Keep an eye on those studs(1 1 /16" nut) if carring heavy loads or do'n heavy pushing as they like to work loose. They went to heavier rim for that model then to more studs on the newer models. Mine came with the heavier style (thicker) rim on one side and an original on the other. Also watch the oil level's on those little gear boxes on the front axel. The oil in the angle gear box on the side can leak down in the bottom one and you wouldn't even know it. Pretty easy to fix and just some O rings from what I remember.

You don't see as many used ones for sale anymore like you did 10-15 years ago. There are want ads on Kijiji now for 825/925's even I've notice. Local dealer used to sell them but now even he doesn't seem to have used ones anymore.

Hey does you cold start heater in the intake work?? I haven't got mine to work properly as of yet. I gave up on it right after I got it as I usally just plug it in anyway. Then I got a Valtra which has the same sort of idea for cold starting and it works real good. So I was checking the one on the 825 again this fall but still it doesn't seem to work. It gets power and heats up and the fuel seems to drip down on the element at least on the bench when I took it off and tried it.

I paid 5 grand for my 78 belarus 800 back in 1986, it had 5000+ hrs on it but came with loader. The hr counter quit long ago but i bet it has 15000 largely trouble free hrs on it today engine still fires up in a split sec,.hit the key and of she goes.

Bales weigh around 12-1300 lb a piece,..pretty much all the 3 point will handle.
The 3 point is operational, i just don't know how long the lift arm support pin flange bolts will hold in that peanut butter casting.

That's why i mounted it the way i did, i rather fix a weak point on the loader supports than have a broke bell housing(seen enough of those)
I have no clue what brand loader it is,..could be ezee-on? It came of a 1070 case originally.

I wonder too were all the belarusses went. they are not in the wrecking yards either? Despite all the negativity People must like them i guess.

I've never used that cold start feature,never needed to,.. both my 800 and 925 have a circulation heater and i seldom use them either.
The tractors sleep in my heated shop,..hit the key and of they go.

Back in the eighties, and late 70's Belarus was putting Leon loaders and "belarus" loaders on these, but I don't think it's a leon. The leon ones had a single center cylinder on many of them for the dump bucket.

The first Belarus 900 series came was sold through our dealership in the US back around 1989. This was a monster 920 actually. It had huge wheels made in the US and Goodyear Dynatorque 2's. It was extremely powerful. I saw it pull routinely a 9 shank H.D. Bushhog V ripper in N. Geogia clay with no problem (minimum suggested HP was 160!). The first engine had an issue where it vibrated excessively. Belarus flew a US tech down to check the engine. He drove in from the airport, put his hands on it, a screwdrive to the engine to his ear, and nodded. The US had originally supercharged the tractor on their own, using a Ray turbo charger and an old 820. It had a pyrometer on the dash and an oil return that went directly into the oil fill cap. They rushed an engine down and we replaced it. This tractor was rated at 95 pto, but was turning probably in excess of 125 on the PTO. It was a beast. It had the center shift transmission and a 4 post rops. Straight stack. No muffler. The county roadgrader got stuck and it pull the thing out. Broke about 3 or 4 half shafts on the front end. Ground up the front chunk too if I recall once time. Bolts came loose everywhere with the vibration on the first engine. The rims split twice and were shipped in from the manufacturer in Jacksonville. The tractor was used for about 7 years and the turbo went out. (The rear end piece broke out of the lower link too like reported above, but the second hole held, and actually improved the lifting height for the V ripper) The customer used it for a couple years with the turbo off (fuel still turned up) and it ran well...but the engine power had just stretched about every bolt it could, and the starter kept giving issues too, so it was loaded up and sold in Charlotte NC at an auction. It was running good and brought about 4000.00 then.

Back in the day Belarus imported (into Canada) the 100/102 and later 6100 that were rated at 100 pto hp. Who knows what they actually put out as they always seem to under rate the hp ratings on them. THey came with a 24 speed synco trans and were a little bigger frame tractor.

Now their current biggest 4cy. model would be I guess the 1220 series rated at 112hp pto 122hp engine with a wieght of 12,170lbs before ballasts, loader etc. So its definately more beefer then the 95 pto hp 952 model the now import or my old 825.

The 920 was as powerful as the 100 that the US built or was to correspond. This tractor was named a 920, when the "5" series was out. We picked it up in Florida, and it had been sitting around awhile. I think it was probably built in 85-87 time frame. It had the "bug" antennae on stalks for the turn signals up front orginally. The center shift was originally in the "0" series, and the 5 series marked the transition to the side shift for the US. It didn't have the cab padding that they used for the open platform tractor they used either (regardless of the fact it was worthless after a year or two due to deterioration).

Belarus USA had a lot of experiements, including turning the 420 series into a rough terrain 4wd forklift, and the 250 into one as well. The original 250's had a gear box at top that would allow the steering wheel to mount on the back side of the box, and the seat could be mounded on top of the battery box. Almost all the pedals and controls could be reversed as well, but people did not realize that. The 400 also had that capability in some versions.

Yeah the get a brad rap and maybe rightly so in some cases with some fo the stories one hears but I know many who like the 825/925 for a utility/haying/feeding tractor and seek them out as cheap farm hp. Unfortunately for the bargin hunter it seems they've sort of caught on as they are harder to find at least with in driving distance. Even the big articulated 4 wheel drives branded belarus (not made by MTZ factory) some models are supposted to be real good hp and have a service life 20,000-30,000 hrs when cared for. I read one day on a forum how there was a low houred big 400+hp Belarus for sale at a farm auction by Edmonton I think. Several guys who knew the machine showed up figuring they were going to get themselves a bargin for $5-6K but to their surprise .... it went for $30k

I think they are being bought up and now shipped .... back overseas to markets that demand them.

I have a friend of mine that has a picture of one of the Kirovets dragging a large drag line with the tracks locked up backwards out of a S. GA swamp area. I was told by the Russian engineers they were originally designed as military tank retrievers.

At the time they held some Nebraska test records for pull. They offered them in V-6 turbo, V-8 Twin turbo, and V-12 versions. One of the engines had a roller bearing crank, if not all of them. They also had an oil pump you could switch on and build pressure before the engine was ever cranked over.

Yeah there are a couple hundred around still in Canada working I've heard. This fellow has several videos of his on youtube working. Interesting machine the massive V12 isn't turbo'd I don't think in the tractor application. I think they used that v12 in tanks too and other applications and its capable over over 1000hp!!. They also came with a 4 speed powershift and auto diff locks that all worked well from what guys say who run them. Air brakes too on them I believe. There is lots of debate on those old beasts as there was actually alot of neat engineering that went into them some 35 years ago.

I realy like oil spinner filter on my belarusen .the oil look allways clean.
Should be standard equipment on every make engine out there.

Oh boy ... yeah that old style wouldn't win any "tractor shows" thats for sure> That has different trans set up then the 925?
