I just bought one of these this week! It also is my first tractor. Haven't taken delivery yet. But I have been pleased with my dealer and the deal I got from him. I thought it was the best combination of value, price, and ability. I decided I didn't need the mid PTO, but I did want the Tier 3 engine. I did a lot of looking on here and other websites as well as talking to folks who owned all different makes of tractors. Everyone seemed to agree the Kubota is a solid choice. Good luck with whatever you chose!

GardenRod, first, congrats. Second, can I ask what you are paying? Third, why is Tier 3 important?

gks,
I just replied to your PM.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
I will be curious to what you end up with. I did a lot of looking at different ones before I bought.
A quality dealership was a must for me!

Third, why is Tier 3 important?

Tier 4 emission controls are much more complex and expensive. The verdict is out as to whether the Tier 4 engines will be as reliable as Tier 3 engines due to increased complexity.

The thread title is interesting. I'd suggest you buy your second tractor first and eliminate a costly step.

That's where I bought my B3300. Jeff is a good guy to deal with. I added the backhoe last year. You will love the tractor. Pushed a lot of snow with her this year. She is a beast!
