When I got done with it - I figured it owed me some so I put it to work in the garden.

Mybiggestproblem right now is vision. I need new glasses. My keyboard is also acting up. It takes off on its own...crazy!!!

Now you're getting into my area.:laughing: I have an appointment a week from today with the retina specialist, but in the last few months, my vision seems to be deteriorating fast and a big part of the problem is focusing. Sometimes, I see double looking at things in the distance; say 100 yard or more. And sometimes I find I can see things more clearly if I cover one eye; i.e., one eye (either one) sees better than the two together.:confused3:

Bird, my mother is 92, a lot older that you. But she had the same problem about 10 years ago and they made her some special specs to wear. Seemed to correct the problem but only recently she is seeing double even with the glasses so probably needs a new prescription.

Alan, the retina specialist seemed to think my vision is pretty good, so I don't know. Of course, when I mentioned seeing double in the distance, that's without my glasses on. I don't wear them all the time. But the retina specialist still wants to see me every 6 months; sooner if I notice any big change in looking at the amsler grid on the refrigerator.

My wife Glenda was diagnosed with an invasive ductal carcinoma the 28th of September. This thread has helped us in the early stages of battling this disease. I'm so glad our friend Jim had the forethought to keep an online journal of his battle with this terrible disease.
