The true answer is he is an argumentative poster, always choosing be a devils advocate. I'm sure he has ended up on many other members ignore list. If you want to waste your time go through his post history.
Truth, eh? Sorry for discussing facts; and I'm not arguing with anyone here, just defending my right to speak my mind, as you are, telling us what truth is- HA!:confused2: You know nothing about me, and if you don't want to read what I post by all means don't - your choice.
Let me try to explain: Your self-righteousness offends a lot of people. Of course accidents are preventable. That's not the point. This is not the time or place to insult someone, saying they don't have "the bare minimum of common sense" after they've had a serious life-threatening accident. That is offensive. In addition you wish ("should get" -how else to read?) that other are injured, killed or maimed. That too is offensive. Let me quote you again:
See above quoted section of post...
"Have you no sense of decency?"
Spare me the explanation of what your opinion is about what I said. You and the others posting about half wits and other derogatory comments are the ones who need to get a grip. Stating facts is not an insult to anyone, and I didn't cite the OP as not having any common sense, if anything he has common sense, he just didn't exercise it in this situation; as he stated he was tired and that likely tipped the scale toward the outcome = serious injury. There's no blaming him for what occurred, it isn't about fault either, but there is responsibility to be taken by the OP for his actions. His posting his errors of judgement is accomplishing that and more, as a benefit to others who might think twice before putting themselves in jeopardy of serious injury.
BTW, once again I didn't 'wish' anything on anyone. I said those who disconnect... safety devices should get what they deserve....and hopefully not end up hurting innocent bystanders....
Meaning, if one purposefully increases risks to their safety, then they shouldn't be surprised when things go bad and they get hurt. This does not apply to the OP, since he did nothing to defeat any safety devices.
