CB, what is the purpose of bypassing the seat switch in a cab tractor? With open-station, I can see how it would let you drive standing up for crop work and mowing.

Also, did you end up getting a camera without backup lines? Curious to know how well it works and how you like it. I like the backup lines for some purposes, but with a box blade, they make it harder to see the material in the box. Would be nice to have an on-off capability.

So you can reach in and start the tractor without getting in.

If you had the brake set yes you could.the shuttle would also need to be in neutral, I haven't started it yet to test the neutral safety switch to make sure it works as it should.

The camera installation I purchased has adjustable guide lines, actually 3 options, narrow, wide and none.
From what I see being sold I suspect they all offer the same options, in fact think all merchants sell the same products.

That wouldn't be a bad setup having those choices for the grid lines. I pretty much came to the same conclusion as you on the monitors and cameras., until you get into the high end stuff.

I snapped a pic yesterday of a screen shot from the rear cam.

Yeah I think I will , I'm hoping to get to try a few different mounting options for the front cam over the next few days.

Using a magnet as the mounting would be cool for the front as this way locations could easily changed and the camera easily removed for occasions like stacking branches or other chores that involve risks.

The magnet idea has crossed my mind for sure , be able to try different locations , before making a permanent mount and then finding out it's not the best location.
