... I like the GPI manual push/pull ...
Have you actually used one yet ?

That pump was what made me spring for my 12v pump ...

Although I'd like a hardwired pump, I don't want to run electricity at this time. I'm not sure where my tank will end up, and I'm sure it will move intermittently during the next few years, until final pad and placement is made.

How are you using these DC pumps? Do you hook them to your Tractor's battery each time you pump?
That's how do it ... at least until I replace the accessory outlet on our Kubota.

.
I have had one of the push-pulls for 20 years,,
I like it, I can count the strokes, and know when I am close to full.

I am not filling a 70 gallon 4630 JD,, for me, 10 gallons at a time, is a lot.

I grew up being the main pump of our family. Can't say I've used one in 30years or so. The one we had put about 1/8 gal per push/pull. I hated that pump, but it got the job done.

You bring up an interesting point, that I'd not thought about. I can wire these into a plug, then wire a plug receptacle into the tractor. That would allow me to simply plug in to the tractor and run the pump.

Yup ... makes hooking it up easy-peasy ...

I just used an el cheapo cig accessory receptacle from Autozone ... unfortunately the rubber cap on it deteriorated and let it get wet and it rusted.

I got a very nice waterproof marine accessory plug from West Marine to replace it with, just haven't got around to doing it yet.

This tank will be no where near electricity in all likelihood, for a while.

If you look at my tank in post 48 you will see a red plug on the pump cord. My pump came with a red and black clamps (like on jumper cables). I cut them off and put a plug on. My tractor has a matching plug I installed so I can plug in and pump my fuel. Or just use the red / black clamps that come with the pump and connect to your battery.

My Mahindra has a 7 pin RV plug on the back, stock. I don't know when I'd use it for a trailer, but it sure makes it handy if you need some DC power...foglights, etc.

Would probably work with your pump, too! Just be sure to check the amps required.

It seems like it would be a pain to open the hood and access the up front battery on mine every time I had to fill up. I run an extension cord to my 120v pump. I don't leave it plugged in all the time, just when I need it, though I leave the cord lie.

I also recommend on the out side of your pump that you add a standard plus a water block filters- with drains on the bottom of the clear bowls. You won't regret this decision ;)

Why both standard and water block?

I was going to put on the Goldenrod waterblock absorbing filter... I didn't realize it wouldn't act as the filter.

If I need 2 filters, which is closest to pump? I would suspect it is the standard filter. I've not seen people with 2 filters on the same pump before... or didn't notice it if I did.

that's a really good question since my new tank has a single Goldenrod sediment filter, not water.
But the filter does have a drain.
I was thinking of replacing it with the aquabloc style.
