So I guess what we are trying to tell you is that you need to get a semi with a lowboy trailer with the disconnecting tongue. Anything less is just unsafe. All kidding aside my triaxle has the double jointed flip down ramps with the legs. If your ramps are the kind that are removable and slide into the side of the trailer I don't think that design would work well. I've never been a fan of jack stands. They seam to fail at the worst times. Either they sink into the dirt or fall over.

What I have done to my jack stands is weld a piece of flat steel to the bottom so they don't just sit on the 4 legs. You can use a 2x or cement block under them but both can break. I used 1/8" diamond plate steel with it facing down to give it more traction to avoid sliding. Even if you don't have a welder it shouldn't cost that much to have someone else do it. Plus once done you will need to paint it and I know Barlows sells great Kubota orange paint.

Tilt bed trailers are another answer. One of the local trailer rental businesses is selling their larger conventional trailers and replacing them with tilt beds, for safety reasons.

Legs on the ramps ain't the only answer. Just depends on load, trailer, and truck.

My GN has legs on the ramps. But when the weight of the load stars on the trailer, the section of trailer between the ramps and the axles......if the load is heavy enough it will raise the truck axle. BTDT. So for a heavy haul, I focus on supporting the trailer, not the ramp which can pivot about the trailer tail.

I put the jack stands under the two back corners of the trailer and only do it on concrete drive or packed gravel lot. They worked like a charm loading and unloading this time when I picked up my tractor. I don't average transporting a tractor once a year sooooooI won't be spending hundreds or thousands more for that occasional use.:D I've bought 4 chocks for truck and trailer and two jack stands and will have someone mash the brake and only do it on level or upgrade, that's 4 times more than I done before and I'm satisfied but love you guys trying to spend my money!:drink:
