Framing will be wrapped up tomorrow other than the overhead door area. We need the opening to move timbers and equipment inside to raise the frame. We are planning to wait to remove the door until a couple days prior to the timber install. Windows will be here Friday. Hoping to install them next week. Spray foam will be done a day or two after Christmas. New doors don't ship until Jan 18th. Next up will be electrical. I'm hoping to start running wire for some of my electrical next week.

What are you doing with all your metal siding? Storing it for another project in the future?

I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with it yet. I'm too the point where I need another storage building for my fireworks business. I may hang onto it and use it for that. There's a lot there so I hate to just scrap it.

We checked spray foam off the to do list today. Temps this morning started at -6 here so it is nice to finally get some insulation back in the walls. Windows will get installed tomorrow. Next on the list will be pulling some wire for outlets and staining a bunch of pine t&g for the outside timber porches.

jk96, is that foam on metal or osb? I didn't think you could apply spray foam to surfaces that cold?

The foam in the first post pic is on wood. The other side of the building that did not get windows or doors is on metal. We had to use my existing heat units along with another propane blower to get temps warm enough in the building to adhere properly to the metal.

This side is foam on metal

Great progress. I'm still at a loss how it will look when it's all done, but that's a big part of what makes this thread so much fun!!!1

T-minus 10 days and the cloud should be lifted, lol. Hard to believe our install date is almost here already. Here's a couple pics of our bar top. Getting it through a 12 ft door was challenging. Also a huge difference today with our foam installed. No problems keeping things warmed up inside now. That was a lot of surface area without insulation.
