tHANK YOU MUCH - aGAIN. Dang Caps Lock always gets my fat fingers.

I would urge everybody to check their rear axle bushings and the deck arm bushings.

From what I read, they should be checked every 500 hours. If you let them go until the pins and important parts are wore. It's a much more time consuming fix than just swapping the brass bushings.

Just saw this thread...
I'm traveling 85 miles tomorrow to look at a 325D...
I hope to bring it home...
Here are the pics...
Owner states 455 hours and A+++ shape...
Any input would be appreciated...
Did you end up buying this one? I noticed it was still listed.

I was negligent in greasing the bearings on the back wheels of the 233D.

The bearings spun just enough for there to be perceptible wear in one spot on the spindle - inside bearing - right side.

What are my options? Or should I just throw it together and go?

On 10 acres, those little wheels go round and round - a lot

I peened each spot with a center punch in 4 places. Tightened the bearing right up. It still slides on and off easy enough.

I actually had to file my peen marks a tiny bit

Yes...
I've used it now for several months...
Need to get a fuel sending unit and a new hour meter...
Purchased some spacers to raise the deck and a couple of used weights...
Had to get a cap for the deck adjustment that sits on top of the spindle...
Darn thing has the spring and spacer built in that uses a circle clip...
Eventually just sit the spring in it without the circle clip...
May just put a pin through the next one...
It is a great mowing machine...
No trimming involved with the 6 foot deck...
It's offset to the right about a foot or so...
My yard has never looked better...
They have a great deck and the Mitsubishi diesel is a fuel miser...
