Update on RX6010 with low hours motor failure

/ Update on RX6010 with low hours motor failure #41
Good thread title for once, then we're asked to pile on the brand. Sympathy won't fix the tractor or pay for it to be done.

So many posts/threads in general asking others to Google one's info for them. Not a new phenomenon at all.

I bought a new car in 1971 that had a 12/12 warranty & practically lived in it. Took 13 weeks to put 12k miles on it. Many other things I've bought (mostly tools) are still unused by the time a one-year warranty or a year extension has expired. (What we call 'tough toenails'.)

Sold a van to a guy who parked it for 2+ years. When it wouldn't start after sitting so long he asked for his money back. IMO any warranty is more a privilege than a right. Higher hopes can mean just farther to fall.

This isn't the only thread vague on details. I've seen similar on other sites too including computer support boards. Seems to be the new thing to do. Tell a tale with no details and expect full support. Ask for help, but answer no questions.
There is one going on in the Kubota section now also. OP not willing to supply any details or answers to simple questions on the issue. Frustrating.

The OP of this thread has 9 posts and 2 threads open, all on this issue, but fails to answer simple/basic questions
What exactly failed ?
What he was doing when it failed ?
Who installed the block heater ?
If you can't supply such simple answers questioning warranty (requardless of Mfg.) don't post IMO.

Small rural farming area speaking with some people I have known for over 20 years and their reputation is their word.

Sorry you live in such a cynical world.

I値l roll the dice because Kioti has proven to me they don稚 give a crap.

Sorry to hear that Kioti won't cover this motor destruction. If I were a major manufacturer I would sure as all **** cover this just to stop the bad press that it will get them.

I apologize for not spending the previous years posting exciting action shots of me bush hogging and spreading manure.

Good answer and you probably don't have the time to waste on a tractor forum like so many others do. I hope the repair and your future tractor work out well for you.

Just sitting back and reading this thread.
It sure got ugly for a while.
Reflecting on all the equipment I have owned and all the issues that have come up.
I can't fault Kioti on this. Would have been nice if they would have covered it.
I have had Chevy cover items that have been out of warranty for a long time. The last time was just last month. One item was was 2 years and 40K miles out of warranty.
Sometimes I have wanted to buy another manufacture but I just can't seem to quit Chevy.

As for Kioti and out of warranty issues. It is the dealer that has to do the work for you. My local dealer got my hand lever accelerator covered by Kioti and it is out of the 2 year warranty for general parts. They covered the part but not the diagnostic work or time to replace it. The part was almost $500.00. My local dealer and Kioti came thru for me on this issue.

Lately the warranty/product defect claims have taken on a new twist. People think they can discredit a company because they wont pay for something that has been abused, not maintained, or modified, and they use social media to attack the company.

When I had ZTR troubles, the service manager and factory tech came to my house to look it over, look at what I was cutting and decided this was legitimate. They fixed the ZTR, added two years to the warranty, and maintain their good reputation in the area where I live.

I've noticed a lot of negativity lately on some peoples postings. Not sure why this is happening because I am not a regular on here all the time.
