New pickup

Congrats on the new truck. I thought they dropped the Dodge name and call them Ram's now.
Anyway, until you can post some pics give us the specs on your new power wagon, reg, ext, or crew cab, engine, trans, gearing, towing capacity, payload cap, etc.

The last vehicle I actually was able to work on - 1975 Jeep CJ. After that - a complete and total lost cause for the homeowner type. While doing the yard of paperwork for my PW - I looked in the engine compartment of a new Jeep TJ. I've NEVER had a nightmare that bad. I could completely replumb my house. I can honestly say - I sure wouldn't want to be a mechanic on these new vehicles. No problems with mice in the engine compartment any more - not enough spare room for even a field mouse. Well, now - it says "window sticker is an invalid file". This will be a real test of my typing talents. George is correct - its a Ram.

Well good luck bud.
At your age if you let the dealer intimidate you into a set of conditions to buying then any future issues well you should know how it goes.
Did you spend any time on the Ram forums reading about this truck?
Well as adults we accept our decisions.
Hope it works out for you.
I would have told dealer to pound sand as I had any deposit handed back to me.
Never in 40+ years ever had a dealer tell me, I 'had' to take my vehicle there or else.

No - in my life I've NEVER been intimidated by anybody. Many times this has been one of my problems. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck - I'm gonna call it a duck. Sometimes people have wanted me to call it a "golden ring-necked pheasant" - it's still a duck. I've had my Jeep serviced routinely at this dealership and they have alway treated me fairly. This will be the first vehicle, in all my life, that has been anything other than an "economy" model. I figure this will take me out in style.

Very nice truck oosik. Neighbor just picked up a 2016 Hemi Ram 2500. What a beast! That thing has to be 7' tall!

Doofy - good morning. I forgot to mention - the pickup comes with either a short pole-vaulting pole or side step. I chose the side step.

First off Congrats on the new pickup.
Maybe Iam looking at it the wrong way but scare tactics etc. wouldn't cut the mustard with me.
Yup pickups come along way from the 60's and sure have the prices as everything else, just find it hard for some youngsters signing the bottom on cars trucks today.

Again congrats. :)

Side step is nice but you will need a step stool to reach the side step.

Most of the listed items on the window sticker I know or can make an educated guess. Apple Car play or mirrors with expanded memory ??. So when I use the big outside mirrors to make a phone call - the expanded memory will record that call -??? I mean what the H**L - your cell phone will do everything but clean you up after a restroom visit. Those big 'ol Dumbo outside mirrors should be able to send/receive phone calls.

By golly Doofy - I have a folding step stool. From the days with my camper. I'm all set.
