Well to laugh at one idea over another when nothing has fixed the issue seems a little presumptuous.

I was laughing at myself for assuming everything might be symmetrical.

Rural King Farm and Home stores started purchasing tractors from TYM, rebadged to RK, and selling them out of their stores.

I thought TYM was manufacturing to RK's specs. I wouldn't consider that a rebadge if it's custom work. Kinda like when Deere has Yanmar build them tractors. I don't consider them rebadged Yanmars, I consider them Deeres.

I guess it all comes down to semantics ... since TYM is the actual manufacturer, it depends on how you look at it if you call it "custom" or "re-branded". Either way, RK is not selling a tractor they make - they are having it built by a maker who also sells their own brand under their own name.

As to "reps" being on TBN - I guess that all depends on how it is viewed. The guy who owns CycleStop is also on this forum. He is not on here as a rep for his company but often offers comments on threads that have to do with wells ... however, when he does, he is at times roasted because he gets accused of "shilling" for his company since his product will solve the issue a person is having.

We have several frequent posters that also sell product. It's very easy to spot the ones that are "pimping" their product versus the ones who are simply offering advice. I would hope the guy you mention continues to offering advice and ignores those who misinterpret his intention.

Yeah, it's a tough call. No good deed goes unpunished.

Sad and distressed to confirm: a contact from RK has informed me that "Brian is no longer with the company..."
Unlike other brands, we were blessed to have an "official voice of authority" about RK Tractors.

I almost pitty the guy who comes on here and tries to pick up where the other 2 RK guys left off.

More importantly....... will another RK guy even try to "pick up" where they left off?
