Yep.....that is me!
I "wanted" a Kubota L48 TLB.....so I bought one.
Am closing in on 80, and have not had a wife for more than 20 years,.... so there was no need to get "permission".

I too have the gray poly whatever, we plan on replacing with pex and will be using the copper ring crimps. I won't have any joints inside walls, all lines will be homeruns back to utility room, just as they are with the current layout.

I also seldom loan my tools (oops, just realized I broke this rule with my daughter that is building).. I've loaned a few items in the past and it seems that every time, it doesn't come back when promised and I have to track it down.

If a $2000 tool is what you need to do the project and you can afford it, I say go for it..

Seems odd to be discussing spending too much money on a tool on a tractor website.... I paid a ton of money for my tractor when I already had a wheel barrow, snowblower, lawn mower and gas rototiller. Its not about spending the least amount of money, its about doing what you want with your money!

My parents bought a lawn tractor with mower, tiller, snow blower, a Toyota Landcruiser with a snowplow, a leaf blower, weed eater and lawn sweeper.... about a month after I got married and moved out. :laughing:

There ain't much room in the backseat of an FJ40. I know. I had one also when I moved out. I took mine, so they bought one for themselves. :laughing:
