That sheet of osb got nailed across the front door opening every night. Probably pulled them from it.

I never bent a nail, but that in my sure did.

Really, there’s plenty of mistakes. . And I know about every one.

I do see my compound miter saw sitting on a bench in the background. When I was in the painting phase, my FIL was up helping. I came home from work one day and he had the bench out in the field, using it as a shooting bench. Lol.

I'm not a craftsman in any fashion. I can build things. What I struggle with is knowing where my mistakes are that no one ever notices. My own worst critic....

Took off work 2 hrs early
Finish porch rafters on left side and install fascia board.

They asked how long do you need them? I said 50 years should do.

That only gives you another 27 years!!!!! You should have gotten the hundred year 2x4s!!

Hutch and his son Thomas helped 7 hrs.

Shingles on half the front porch. Thomas was still young and wanted to help, so put him to work on the porch roof after showing him how.

I shingled the 10/12 pitch back of the 10 ft extension and installed the skylight in our FR.

Shingle more of the front porch and started shingles up the right front.
Finished the half bath walls.
Install lag bolts on porch ledger.

We are all our own worst critic. Just got to remember to not point them out to others. I have made enough of my own mistakes. Jon

After work,
Worked on upstairs bathroom walls.
Talked to my neighbor the plumber about ordering tubs and showers.
