All of this talk about suspension - etc, etc. That will work until the suspended person re-joins with an alternate email. Oosik is only one of four possible emails I could use. For me - it's just as easy to NOT subscribe to a thread that does not interest me.

Exactly. If you are offended, dont look or block those that offend your sensibilities. I dont block because even the agitators have valuable things to share some of the time.

This is a perception issue, there is no inflection or body language perceived, the words are taken at face value. Picture yourself sitting around a campfire at the deer lease while reading the replies or comments, helps to picture one of your close friends making the statement, because you have given them a little more leeway because they are your friends.

Sometimes, I have to unplug from the media, both sides, Facebook, Twitter and even texting. Now would be a good time to go get some seat time and unplug/uncork and the replies, good, bad or otherwise, will seem a little less worrisome.

I'm still waiting on any one of the finger pointers etc. and or rubberneckers to explain what is so difficult about simply not reading anything they don't care for...!

And I'm sure there are some that just love to find something they think is worthy of reporting rather than just ignoring it...It seems they just can't stand it if they think someone is pushing the rule envelope...it must be compulsive to some.

Ever notice that when a thread goes sideways and gets a little controversial or heated that the post counts don't spike but the views sure do...they sure like to criticize the provocative commentary and point fingers at those responsible but they sure don't want to miss anything...! :laughing:

It's been pointed out several times... ignoring you isn't enough. When a thread such as the CV-19 is started 11 times, not counting all of the side threads, only to be shut down as many times because of a certain few, ignoring doesn't do any good..
