locknlube cupler for a grease gun

I bought a LockNLoad look alike. Works great. Bought a LockNLoad with extended snout to get it onto the zerk on a little nipple greaser. Needed a 2nd one for my other grease gun which leaked badly at times.

These don't leak. Easy to remove.

This is my post from early in the thread:

I am real happy with my LockNLube Grease Coupler.

I put it on the lever action, removed the steel tube and used a hose.

You normally don't have a hose on a lever style, because it would require 3 hands to use it. This way I have more flexibility and only need two hands.

And now it has a 4 foot long hose on it:

The coupler is still working good after 6 years :thumbsup:

I have a few zerks too that are difficult for the LnL to access. I just took a 6-inch grease hose, attached a zerk to one end and a regular coupler to the other and I use it as an adapter. So for the dozens of zerks I have on equipment I take advantage of the ease of greasing with the LnL and for those TWO zerks that are problematic I use my little adapter.

Was just thinking of something like that might work.
With that said, I bought a LnL over a year ago and never got it on my grease gun yet.

I did the same thing. Took me a very long time for me to get around to installing mine. So, I can truthfully say: You're missing out. You need to get it installed!

I have one, it makes some of those hard to reach zerks easier to get grease into them.

I bought a regular LnL, but found it was too large in diameter to fit into the Zerk fitting recesses on the tractor FEL. It is plenty long enough, but too big otherwise. Does the XL LnL have the same tip end diameter as the regular? It would have to be only slightly smaller to work. I may just try chucking it up in the lathe and turning it down a bit. Thanks

Greasing took on a whole new life for me.
Lucked onto a 12 volt Lincoln for measly $25.00 so went hog wild and added a LNL.
Now lubing is fun!
Clean, well almost, hands.

My complaint with the standard coupler is that sometimes the grease leaks out around the zerk instead of going thru it, even pressing as hard as I can on the hose/coupler. I guess the connection has to be square on.

Would not the LnL do the same thing?

It can but it seems to grab on much easier and tighter than a standard coupler.
