County line Brand from TSC. They have a sale right now to get the PHD for $529. I went through the reviews and people with JD 1025R's, Kubota BX's and, even a guy with a GC1705 had much praise for the unit so I figured I'd give it a whirl. I'd have loved a EA Subcompact post hole digger but for the little work I'll be doing I just couldn't justify the extra money. I believe they are rebranded Tarter units.
Nice! I hope you get the ol' girl working!Drug a old log splitter off my trailer with my GC 1715... Bought a sad 20 ton log splitter that seems to be pretty much intact other then two dead tires and little B&S motor missing carburetor/fuel tank/air cleaner... Yes it's a project...

Like to know how it works out for you.
Do you have any interference issues with the toplink? That's the only thing I've ever been super worried aboutI run one on my 1723e, works well.

Looks good! Nice work!My new neighbors moved in a few weeks ago and I told them I’d clear their back yard for them. He was surprised what I could do with the 1723eb. Now the wife is on me to clear mine up View attachment 663687View attachment 663688View attachment 663689

Received my post hole digger today. It seems pretty well built but there some immediate concerns for my GC and likely for any sub compact. The top link attach point is waaaay too tall and looks mildly different from the pictures I was able to see online before purchasing. This is more a warning to anyone else that would consider this as an option. I'll get it all tuned up with my plasma cutter and welder for my purposes. Couldn't beat the price as they were on sale so all's well.View attachment 663931View attachment 663932View attachment 663933View attachment 663934
Didn't pick one up yet. There was a sale at to get the PHD for 529.99 so I jumped at it. Augers are readily available here at a variety of farm stores when I need them. Future plans are pole barn that I'll build and adding a mix of privacy and chain link fence on my property.Nice, what diameter auger did you choose.

Your welcome, here are the AGCO pricing, and they also have E Books just a little less $ for those that like that (I'm old and old school - paper books):
