He was carrying, forgot to mention this, a chainsaw so we thought at first he was another worker.
I'm not a social bug as some are but then I'm not anti-social either.
In the brief conversation we had, rather garbled, he said something about having worked as part of this crew in the past.
I want to be friendly, I want to be neighborly. But that was a poor start on his part.
And if you are saying you don't mind people, neighbors or not, just wandering onto your property to treat it like it's their privilege to do so I cry BS, you are lying.

Heck, I've had friends and neighbors of mine text me to let me know my garage addition project is looking great! How would they know, since it's not visible from the street? Well, they walked back there and looked. I do not care. They are my friends and neighbors. I actually miss the old guy to our south that would walk up to me in my yard while I was working and critique my job. :laughing: He passed away a few years ago. Now, my neighbor to my north got a girlfriend and moved up north. I miss him as well. Lots of good advice from an old machinist.

Sometimes north and south guys would come into my yard while I was working and argue about the job while I'm standing there. I'd have to tell them I'm trying to get some work done here. :laughing:

Good neighbors are a good thing. Give the guy a pass.

So he came over to help out and brought his own tools. Your wife is right!

When you live in a rural area a good relationship with your neighbors is important. They can make you life a living He|| or Heaven.

Yep. I know all of my neighbors. I prefer it that way. I keep track of them and they keep track of me.

Yes it is. He has been back over three or four times to help us remove trees. He loves doing it, he is retired and gives him something to do with his toy.

I have an older Hoe and the only one in the neighborhood. I understand that completely.
