I made my 7 ton farm tractor dump trailer with fold down sides. Sold my flatbed bale trailer, will use one trailer from now on. The deck is just over 3 feet high and i have 20 inch boards. Its a three sided dump so i can dump dirt out the back with automatic tailgate latch, and when i dump a load of brush i manually fold down a board and dump over the side so i dont have to carry my tailgate out. The 20" boards already hold more dirt than whats good for a 7 ton tandem.
Yeah Im thinking a 16’x8’ dump trailer with 20” sides loaded with gravel or dirt will be well loaded, even with 10k axles. Thats 7 yards without a heap pile in the middle.
I will haul some gravel, but bales and pallets will be #1 and #2
