What have you done to your Branson today?

Got our first light dusting of snow yesterday and today.

Time to get the box blade back on the 3 pt and get it leveled out and ready. Also time to put the Edge Tamers on the FEL bucket.

I've been using my tractor and trailer to move branches over to another location but yesterday we had a little bit of rain, so I decided to tackle an easy and quick project.

I built an extension for the 3 pt lever. It was a bit low and kind of tricky to go adjust the height from the outside of the tractor when hooking an implement.

It's about 5" longer than stock but keep in mind that I already remove a 2" factory spacer under the seat. Yes I'm on the short side and the tractor was built for you tall Americans. While I could reach the pedals with the seat all the way forward and with the spacer in place, it wasn't comfortable for me.

Anyway, I didn't bother extending the Draft control lever as I don't really use it anymore as I sold the turn over plow a month or so ago. The extension has about 15 degree tilt forward and about 10 degree to the right side. It does clear the Gear shifter lever when engaged in 4rd gear as shown in picture 5.

Very nice ptsg! That looks like a factory extension!

That looks well thought out and made like all your fab work.

One of those has been on my list of stuff to make since I got my Branson.

**** Pedro... seriously nice work! I wish I could fab like that.

Thanks guys!

If this is something you could use, I can draw it up on CAD software and make a drawing of it.

I'm thinking that for H models, I can tilt it to 20 or 25 degrees forward. It will give more room on the remote levers with the 3 PT lever all the way back.

Ptsg inspired me to do some fab work! Not nearly as nice as his work but functional.

I wanted a stop for my 3pt control. Being a cab the boot keeps me from using the factory one. There is a brace for the side panel that is in the right spot to fab from but I wanted to keep the original part.

I used what I had to fab with so a lot of making do but I think it turned out ok.

First step was to duplicate that part.

Next was to fab a bracket to hold the stop and weld it to the new part.

It fit perfectly and I think it will work great!

Now I just need to clean and paint it.

Great work K5! Looks awesome.

That's actually pretty dang similar to what I had in mind. Although, mine doesn't have the sound deadening material, so it would make it slightly easier to build.

So far, I only had the need for a stop one time, I don't think I'll one anytime soon.
