I have turned the raise and lower speed knob. When turned down it doesn't seem to what to raise at all. I have it set to the fastest. The fastest is still takes about 15 seconds at 2200 rpm to raise up. I have no draft controls.
There is also let down happening just at the 3point hitch.

The three point hitch was not used because I had the backhoe on for 6 months. The raise lever must of got bumped because it was at 2 instead of 0 and may have been in that position for a bit. I wonder would that have caused constant strain on the lift arms cylinders (there are 2 of them) causing a failure. Also I might be the value that can be adjusted to fast or slow. Could any of these cause the problem.
And it might have been bypassing and weakened your bypass. We always tie our lift arm down. That way it won't get bumped. Been doing it 20 years.
You have to eliminate the bypass as the problem. It may have blown the rings on lift cylinder. Just gotta check it out.

When the backhoe was mounted, Did you have the backhoe raised all the time? Or did you lower it when done using it and in storage?

Probably not an issue (since I think you said the other hydraulics are working fine?).... have you checked filters?

I'm not familiar with your tractor, but I had an issue with mine where things weren't working right...long story short, the filter (which was pretty new AND I had replaced ALL the hydraulic fluid)...anyway, the filter had a layer of fine sediment on it that was choking down the flow of fluid thereby creating my problems. Pulled filter out, cleaned it and problem fixed.

I was totally set on spending $400 for a new hydraulic pump since I "knew" that was my issue.....

This year when I put the Backblade on my BX2200 the 3 pt. would not stay up after raising. I remembered a secondary screen filter that I had not looked at in a while. so I unscrewed that and found a few specks of grit on the screen. I cleaned that off and found all the hydraulic fluid in the oil catch pan. Put 3 gallons of new hydraulic fluid in the BX and to my surprise the 3pt stays up. Works like it should. As for the main filter I changed that last year so I did not touch that one.

When you remove the backhoe, do you have to plug two hoses together??

If so, recheck, recheck, then RECHECK the connection of those two hoses,,
if not plugged together correctly, you get a problem,,

Thanks. That is an easy thing to check.

Yes I do. I will check that. Thanks.

So I reseated those hose connection. Now it picks up the blower at 1500 rpm’s instead of 2200. Would that be almost normal. Or the new normal for an aging tractor.
