Maybe fab shop did not read website...The Bauma website says it's a Cat 2 implement.

It very clear that the implement will attach on that tractor as shown on the video with the same exact tractor and mower.Maybe fab shop did not read website...

it's not the draw bar bracket stopping it, it's the sway bars limiting them.
str8 6 go to 20” and the op’s only to about 30”
pull the pins on anti sway bars and see if lift arms will actually come in closer to fitting implement
The stabilizers should just slide in and out. It's a telescopic design. The thread portion allows for fine tuning.I did do this. I am able to attach it if I disconnect one of the sway bars. Honestly I don't really view this as a great solution..

cutter that says it fits a cat 2 system is where the problem is.
That did clear things up. Thanks for the pictures. These ones don't, some stabilizers have multiple holes you can put the pin in, the purpose is to prevent sway, if you have it without the pin you might as well just disconnect it.

You can see when I put it up against the lower hitch arm (the cutter is currently attached with the sway bar disconnected) there is no way I would be able to reconnect that sway bar. The ball in the sway bar that connects to the tractor prevents it from getting the correct angle to attach back to the hitch arm.
Exactly. It does not. I am contacting the manufacturer to see what recourse I have. I have been getting treated like absolute **** by companies recently and I'm sick of it. If nothing else Ill just return it.
I don't know but it's an awesome pin! I'd love to get a bunch of them.
I talked with some neighbors who farm and they said its not that uncommon to have to remove a sway bar to connect to something. I find it really silly that there is a set standard and companies are not making the implements to that standard. I completely understand if you're using a disc that cousin Eddie made in 1959 and it doesn't quite fit, but is it so much to ask that companies use the defined standard for width when making new equipment?
Being that it's a new tractor I'm trying to confirm that this won't affect my warranty at all. Thankfully the implement company has been receptive and understands my concerns and they are confident there is no warranty issue with operating with a sway bar disconnected.
EDIT: I should add this concern may be laughable for experienced owners, this is my first rodeo so I'm just trying to learn as much as possible and not screw myself.
