I decided last week that I've lived long enough without a dedicated container for mixing oil and gas for 2-stroke engines. I really just needs something for measuring gas, I buy oil in calibrated squeeze bottles. Right now I have a 1-gallon plastic gas can that I've drawn lines on with a Sharpie, it works but just barely. I typically mix a quart to a half gallon of fuel at a time, I don't like to mix more than I'm going to use in a fairly short time.

I'd prefer to have a mixing container with a cover so I don't fill the garage with gas fumes.

What does everyone use?

Thanks.

works fabulous and allows different ratios and different gallon amounts per ratio. Have it 15 years still works great

Thanks. Something like this is pretty much what I had in mind. I've gotten wary of buying things like this on Amazon because you never know what the quality is going to be like. I don't need any more plastic junk.

A one gallon gas can and a small measuring cup for the oil, similar to this...

I also use one that's larger for my pool chemicals.

You'd be surprised. Lid that doesn't fit or leaks. Plastic that cracks. Inaccurate gradations.
well its been fine, its stored inside and has no damage or overall degradation, at 9 dollars or the cost of a quarter pounder now, I say take the risk
