Wild turkeys and cattle grazing together in a meadow in northern Nevada today....

Yeah, we've been to the Appalachias several times.... then we went to the Rockies. WOW! No comparison. Some people don't realize just how massive some of these mountains are. They are huge.
Back in the day when a young buck that slope didn't seem as formidable as it does today. Some people don't realize just how massive some of these mountains are. They are huge.
On my first trip to the east coast, I took a shuttle to get to my destination, I forget in which state, and the driver kept mentioning the Appalachian Mountains. After a while I asked when we would see them. He cursed at me and said that we have been driving past them for the last 1/2 hour.Yeah, we've been to the Appalachians several times.... then we went to the Rockies. WOW! No comparison.![]()
The ghost trees finally arrived...
Been there. Nearing mile high. Beautiful country.Cattle clustered around the (frozen) waterhole on the Roaring Springs Ranch in the Catlow Valley, Oregon:

That’s it. I’ve looked at a bunch of pictures and I guess the pictures were of a male maybe. I was thinking Catbird but got it confused with Cowbird. Thanks for nailing that one down for me, it was bugging me every time I saw one.
