How Hard Can a Tractor Pull?

I have moved a number of rocks that size and much larger with an old 3/8 winch cable, a couple of chains, and snatch blocks from harbor freight. By running the cable through a number of the pulley blocks, you multiply your pulling power. Check out this video Also I use my feathers and wedges...

    SAE 8 orange boss leaks

A final follow up. This valve was purchased from Amazon. The valve is imported from China. If you look at the photos there is a chamfer missing from some of the ports. This allows the oring to seat and seal properly. The replacement valve also from Amazon, but a name brand "Summit" works...

    SAE 8 orange boss leaks

I have a diverted valve with 6 oring boss fittings. The orings fail frequently. I am not sure if it is poor installation or bad sealing surfaces, or something else. The oring will be pushed out in a small area around the fitting. When I install new orings I put them as tight as possible but they...

CK25 and other similar models --- Air Filter

So I have a 2005 CK25. I have been noticing during my search for an air filter that some manufacturers list an inner and outer filter, 2 actual cartridges. Does anyone know if the CK25 had 2 filters. My tractor has only had the "outer" since I bought it from the original owner. Thanks Brian

Looking for dimensions / photos of CK25 grill guard

Hey all, I have a 2005 CK25 HST that I really needs a grill guard. For some reason it was optional in 2005, and the original owner never purchased it. Can any one shoot some photos of theirs? How it mounts? Rough tape measure dimensions? Any problems with it on? I will fab this myself, but I...

    Fitting supplier

So I thought I would post a brief update to this project. I have had very little time to put on this project in the past couple of months. I have made mounts for the new lines, silver soldered the assemblies, and have done a trial fit. Attached is a before picture and photos of the lines during...

First the mandatory disclaimer. I have no connection with this business, other than being a satisfied customer. I never post a review of a business, but was so impressed by this shop I felt I had to share my experience. I have been searching for the fittings to DIY the lines from rubber tube...

    Steering brakes

I stopped a Kioti dealer recently to look at the new machines and drool a little bit. I currently have a Ck25HST, which works perfectly and does all I need. But it is nice to look. While talking to the sales guy, he mentioned that I should never ever use the steering brakes on my machine as it...

    Looking for torque spec

I am in the middle of repairing my 2005 Kioti CK25 KL130 loader 635 hours. I posted in the Kioti operating forum, "how a mouse nest turned into a can of worms", while installing the hydraulics for a grapple, I found cracks in the torque tube of the loader, since I had it all apart, I figured...

A mouse nest turns into a can of worms

I built a grapple for my CK25, while accessing the hydraulic lines in the torque tube of the loader to connect up a diverter valve I found a mouse nest. Further inspection revealed that the tee fittings were all rusted and needing replacement. You can see the nest and the fittings in the photos...

Can I install two open center valves in series, if they are never operated at the same time? One is for a grapple, the other is for the thumb on the backhoe. Does anyone see any issues? Thanks Brian
