CX2510 HST Overly Sensitive Joystick Valve

I have a CK2510 and the hydraulics are fast as well. Shortly after I got it i made a longer joystick for it. The extra length and leverage gave me much finer control of things. This thread has more details: CX/CK2510 loader knob

    CX/CK2510 loader knob

I'm curious to see what you come up with.

    CX/CK2510 loader knob

You are right about the threads being M14x1.5. My lever is 21" long to the top if you measure from the plastic below the rubber boot.

    CX/CK2510 loader knob

M14x1.5 sounds about right with the threads. I'll check next time I'm out in the barn. It will be really enjoyable using the loader once you have it the length you need. I don't understand why they have such a short lever from the factory.

    CX/CK2510 loader knob

I think I might be the person you're referring to. I made a new lever for my CK2510. The knob isn't glued on if I remember. The top of the lever is gnarled and pressed flat so it spreads out wider than the diameter of the rod. The knob is just pressed on. I had a heck of a time getting it off. I...

The Little Tractor that could, CK2510

Sorry it took so long to respond, I don't visit the site as much as I used to. That is a 12" bucket on the backhoe. It works great with the the size of the tractor. It could handle a little bit bigger bucket(if there's one that would fit) as long as the ground isn't too compacted and there...

    What's going on with wheat?

Ukraine is a very large wheat producer. I expect the demand in other parts of the world will be pretty high and the U.S. will be exporting quite a bit of wheat this year as a result.

5075E- what am I doing wrong?

I have a 5075e with the power reverser. I find at times I'll have everything in gear, including the power reverser, and the N light will be lit up and the tractor won't move when I let out the clutch. This usually happens if I shift things quickly. I just shift the power reverser back to...

Can this Compact 47hp HST handle Chisel Plow

Soil composition varies at various depths as well. UC Davis is an excellent resource for soil maps (UC Davis Soil Maps). Lots of valuable information to be found about soil types, composition, classifications, etc. A real rabbit hole if you're into these sorts of things.

Can this Compact 47hp HST handle Chisel Plow

I agree that what is grown can help alleviate some of the effects caused by rototilling, but the actual rototilling does create a hard pan that will get worse if it's the only tillage method used. Unless the root system of whatever is grown can work it's way through that hard pan, or it's able...

Can this Compact 47hp HST handle Chisel Plow

Great point about rototillers forming a compaction layer. First time I've seen somebody mention it. They are convenient, but they really do destroy soil structure if you don't use other practices (ie. plant cover crops, subsoil, chisel plow etc.) to make up for the damage they do.

Woodmaxx vs Landpride 3 pt snow blower?

I just ordered an 84" Woodmaxx last week. It's due to ship out tomorrow. You might get lucky if you hurry.

The Little Tractor that could, CK2510

I certainly have a few of those too, mostly marble. I think I got lucky with this one.

The Little Tractor that could, CK2510

This rock has been bothering me for a while now. It's in the middle of an area I'd like to plow up, so I figured it was time to see how big it really was. So with the little CK2510 and a knife, I started digging. I'd dig with the backhoe, and start scrapping dirt away from under the rock with...

    Paint for Kioti tractors

Allis Chalmers orange is a very close match. Tractor Supply sells spray cans of it. I used it on the wheel weights I made. Pictures are in another thread.
