I have never owned a Kubota, I use to own a Mahindra 3510 that was a fine tractor absolutely zero issues. I would certainly purchase another Mahindra with no hesitation.

I installed turn signals, flashing light in front grill, emergency flashers and put farm tags on my Polaris Ranger. I use it to run the state road between each farm that we service.

Those old Ford diesels are hard to beat, we had a 2000 3 cylinder and I don't remember it ever failing to do what was asked of it.

Absolutely, go with one of the adapters listed above that way you have unlimited options for all of your attachment needs.

We use a 100 HP McCormick for making hay and it is one tough tractor, just wish it had a power shuttle.

How is the cyclone at picking up acorns? I have spoke with a couple people that have yard vacs and they tell me that they don't do well in picking them up.

A short chain works really well pulling the stuck ones off

Get a sub frame so you don't hurt your tractor, a 3 point setup puts way too much stress on the tractor.

I also got the letter for my 2400h and I'm leaving things as they are.

We have a 2400h that my wife uses for all of her yard work and she loves it. It's dependable, handy to use due to it's smaller size and helps with accessing those tight spots around the barn. I have had zero issues with it and we are glad we made the purchase.

I'm with the majority, go with the heaviest machine. In my experience it will probably be the Kioti.

Looks like the absence of the pivot linkages is probably what is causing the issue, hopefully you get it worked out real soon.

Does the engine sound like it's under load whenever you engage the pto or does the engine just shut off as if the key was turned off?

I have used JB Weld to successfully repair radiator tanks also however, I attempted the same repair as the OP with JB Weld and it failed. Problem is the stress that is induced by the movement of the radiator while operating.

I agree, if resale is something you are considering I would probably buy the orange one. However, those blue tractors are good machines.

That hose looks an awful lot like a 70's era Ford 302 engine molded hose that comes off the water pump, that is if it's around 5/8" diameter.

I am familiar with the Kioti 6620 and that is one tough well built heavy machine, I guess it all comes down to what shade of orange paint you like the best.

Where can I get one of those gooseneck vents? Something like that is what I need for the differential fill plug.

Exactly ptsg, actually I believe the curl cylinders are too long. I haven't really started to evaluate the ins and outs yet of a retrofit but, I believe it can be achieved without too much of a hassle.

Mine doesn't have any way of switching, it is strictly self leveling.

Unfortunately I have been down this road with a break in the same place as yours, I tried ever type of epoxy that I could find and nothing worked. I actually thought it was fixed after using JB Weld and not having an issue for several months until I started to use the tractor hard while cleaning...

I agree Smokey, self leveling is only good for forks it has no place for a bucket in my world. There is no way to make adjustments to the loader that I'm aware of, I am toying with removing/fabricating some brackets so I can defeat the self leveling part.

Turns a backhoe into a Gradall, now that's an awesome piece of equipment.

I'm actually looking at something that has a good size bucket so I don't lose capacity over what my normal bucket is. My tractor has the self leveling loader so that already makes it almost impossible to carry a full bucket down slopes.

W.R. Long or Kioti 3rd function kit, that is the question. Any of you guys prefer one over the other? I was reading a few posts on the Kioti kit and it seems as though the instructions are not all the easy to understand.

I didn't really have tall or thick enough grass to see if I could actually tell a difference, the tractor performed flawless as always.

Turned my RX6010 out 1/2 turn today, hooking up the 10' woods bush hog tomorrow will see if I can tell any difference.

I purchased a Polaris Ranger 800 HD back in 2010 and it is one of the best purchases I have made as far as equipment to help out around the farm and for hunting. It has been very dependable, zero issues I would hate to be without it.

About the only advantage that I have found with self leveling is when I put the forks on and have to work from the platform in order to reach higher places. The self leveler really puts the operator at a disadvantage if you're operating on hilly ground with a spear carrying round bales downhill...

I have an RX6010 and the more I use the loader, the more I don't care for the self leveling bucket. I wish Kioti offered the standard loader as an option, I may have to get creative and fabricate some brackets to defeat the self leveling part. Randall
