    drill a 1/2" hole thru the end of the gate tubing. get a couple wheels with hubs for 1/2" axle. put 1 wheel on each side of the gate ,cotter pins in the ends of a piece of 1/2" inch bar stock. or use a long 1/2" bolt and lock nut the threaded end. probably under $30.00 total

    basic stuff to start. check hydraulic fluid incase something like a hose or fitting broke. check fan belts incase the pump is driven by belts.

    Pertronix have been around for many years. Have installed them on many old cars and old equipment and tractors. BTW... you dont need to replace plug wires or the coil to use Pertronix. just remove the points and follow directions installing the Pertronix unit.

    4.4% seems high for a newish vehicle. Since its still under warranty I would take the test results into your dealer. You may have a injector bleeding down. They can do pressure test and check TSb's for issues. I think you would want to fix this instead of trying ways to live with it.
