    Tractor lots are full

This was my feeling exactly last year. I'm very lucky. Due to some issues with Whites Farm supply in Canastota NY taking in my Kubota L3560 for service at about 250 hours... We'll long story short they crashed the tractor, damaging it for about $6000. Mostly cosmetic. Of course they said it...

Do I really need a tractor on 1.5 acres?

I agree with most. I have 3/4 acre with our property. I have a Kubota 3560 with cab. 9' Backhoe, man lift, 72" finish mower, and several other attachments. But do I really need a 35hp tractor with cab? Yes. I prep firewood not from my property. So I cut and pull and haul, and manage...

    Another backhoe question

    Another backhoe question

One of the first experiences I had with my backhoe on the Kubota (4 months in) was finding a 750 gallon empty oil tank buried about 2 ft under the driveway i was building. It was a surprise for sure but dug and pulled it out with NO issues. I was amazed that I could run into such a project...

    Another backhoe question

Wow... I paid 52,500 for a Kubota 3560 with backhoe and none of the other stuff. So that's about $3000 difference minus the other goodies.. With those added back in it's about $11,000 difference. That's a lot of tractor for $49,700 (if I include the Backhoe at $10,000) Sweet deal. Who's...

Interesting, Calculating a roughly 2% built in inflation rate since 2008 gives us 28%. (but inflation was under 2% some of that time). Its possible the additional 13% increase is from the last 1 to 2 years as inflation has been under 2% for most of the time previous to that.
