I would go with a 84'' plow. I have a similar tractor (L3240) and I bought a used 6'6'' truck plow and added 10'' to one side. You need the width when you angle it. I've never had a problem pushing it. Jeff

The tires that came with my L3240 were 4 ply. They lasted about 3 years before they got a bubble on the sidewall. I upgraded to 6 ply and haven't had a problem since. I have the bigger loader and use the heck out it with no problems except a small leak in 1 seal. Always have about 1000 lbs...

I run mine at 700 rpms, oh that's right I have a 11 year old tractor with shuttle shift and a fuel pedal. I only increase the rpms when I need to. Wouldn't trade my tractor for a new one even up. Jeff

I bought mine from Kentucky (Barlows) and I either get oil and filters from the local Kubota dealer or online. Never had the tractor to the dealer in the 11 years I've owned it. Saved a couple thousand dollars when I bought it.

Love my gear drive l3240 with a shuttle. No whine and no loader problems. And the wife can drive it just fine. Jeff

When I built my house my Dad helped me with the plumbing. He insisted on bringing the water lines up thru the floors instead of the exterior walls. I told him it looked better in the wall but he said no. I've never had one freeze in28 years, thanks Dad

We put our geothermal in when the government was giving 30% tax incentive. Our heatpump was fading fast so I needed to replace it anyway. 11 years ago and I would say its paid off in savings. Jeff

Mines the same. It heats water with the excess heat before its returned to the ground. I have a preheat tank and a tank that gets the water hot enough for use in the house. Very efficient. Jeff

I put 13ozs in my 2 gal sprayer. I use the TSC generic roundup in 2.5 gal jugs. Lasts all year and works good. Always goes on sale in the spring. Jeff

I'll keep my L3240 gear drive that I can leave in idle and push the accelerator with my foot when I need it. It sips fuel. The only time I use the hand throttle is when I'm brush hogging. You guys can have your tractors that are screaming wide open all the time. Jeff

At least 1 of my vehicles were stick ever since I started driving. Current truck is the only 1 I ever had with an automatic. Couldn't pass up the deal. My current work car is a 2012 focus with stick and 38 mpg. My wife and son can drive standard but 2 daughters can't. Jeff

Thats how my tractor is. Accelerator just like a car. Of course mine is a DT model so I can keep the tractor at idle then rev it up as needed. Or can use the hand throttle like when brushhogging. Also much quieter than a hydro. My little tractor is a hydro and I like the treadle pedal. Jeff

Just like a regular driveway you have to grade so the water doesn't sit and puddle and have expansion joints. Pavers are a lot of maintenance and plowing will be hard on them. Same with stamped concrete and if you have a problem with a section of concrete almost impossible to repair and...

Been a bricklayer a long time and did a few driveways with pavers, All of them had 4 to 5''s of concrete under to pavers so double the price of either one. Sure did last a long time though. Jeff

When you pour a slab it's never perfect on the bottom. It will be very difficult to get it set perfectly level and solid where it doesn't rock. It would save a lot of hassle to just repour the concrete, especially if you are trying to match a certain height. Jeff

Been doing this for years. Ran two hoses to the front of the tractor. Set the curl where it works good and switch out the curl hoses with the snow plow hoses. Some year I'll get a diverter valve but till then this works fine. Jeff

Instead of welding hooks on I would weld a 3 x3 angle iron on the top with slots cut in vertically every 6'' or so. Will hold chains better than hooks. A hitch would be nice too. Jeff

Since my forks are on most of the time I welded a hook on the frame of the forks and use it a lot. Also have hooks on my bucket so I'm set either way.
