check power to the solenoid. you can pull the solenoid and cycle the key. should be moving in and out.

do you have power to the starter solenoid when you try to start? it that the clicking sound you hear? if so try a couple solid taps to the starter with a hammer.

sounds like it could be a bad ground. start from the battery clean all ground connections. with a meter check from battery cable out and see where you lost power when it dies. there's your problem.

if you tried to start it and nothing.... its not a fuel solenoid, has nothing to do with starting/cranking. look at the starter system first

there are funnels that have a filter screen you can use. you might improve on your filter that is inline from your tank to the injector pump. there really shouldnt be anything past that anyway.

you have two fuel lines coming from your fuel tank. the supply line goes to a fuel filter then into the injector pump. the return line would be the line going to the pump without a filter. maybe you could add a filter to your return line. you might start adding fuel conditioners to your tank...

Try changing engine speed. you are running high rpm go to idle speed to see if that helps or as crazy as it sounds speed rpms up to see if that helps. On some cranes for example I would keep rpms up to have more soft control of the load line If not it takes practice

you never said what you are towing with? I've had a lot of trucks and towed a lot of trailers. Never had a weight distribution hitch. Always had Air Lift air overloads. adjusted the truck height till it was back up where it was without the trailer. never a issue.

if you are checking power at the switch and there isnt any and all else works its the switch. if checking power at where ever its supposed to be you need to trace back along the wire till you locate the problem.

get your meter out and do some testing. check the key switch first if everything else is getting power.

the brake should hold period, any creep is wrong. HST or gear box. Unsplit your brake pedal. Try the ebrake on each side. May give you a starting point. The ebrake should easily hold on each side

what kid of pressure will your grease gun make? some wont make much and wont push old dry grease at all

all the throttle does is tell the pump to add more or less fuel. if the engine is runaway its getting additional fuel from the pump. there is a company on here that rebuilds pumps. you might call them to verify whats going on.

Pretty much any working engine should get up to at least 170 and stay around +- 200 degrees. Dont trust your factory gauges to be 100% reliable

No equipment is worth much unless you find that 1 guy who really wants one. Best bet is to get a replacement engine and then you will have something you can sell. Shop around, try Harbor Freight for the motor. They have a good selection now and growing.
