It was built over about a year. The landowner has a Kubota that is probably about 40 HP and his FEL / grapple will only lift about 8' so the pile wasn't high .. but very broad.

All the ten VFDs, in our County ask their constituents to notify 911 dispatch, in advance, of any controlled burn, prescriptive pasture burns, etc . so .. if neighbors get nervous and call 911, the dispatcher is already aware and doesn't send crews out on false calls. But still there's a few .....

This gentlemen has been very generous to our VFD in the 1 1/2 years he's been a neighbor.

We communicate with our neighbors often .. that we'd rather spend an hour making sure everything is done right than a day (or more) trying to get a screw up under control. This was all cedar trees and was going to burn fast anyway.
