1972 Ford backhoe?

I recently bought what the seller thinks was a 1972 Ford 3500 backhoe, running except (yes there's always an except). The two hoses from the backhoe to the tractor were damaged. I'm trying to find info the plates are well worn, and I can't understand model numbers so I can order the correct book. Also where can I find hoses and can I go ahead and put quick disconnects?

You should be able to have new hoses made at a local hydraulic shop. The can probably also offer options for quick disconnects. As far as the tractor goes, try this TractorData.com Ford 3500 industrial tractor information

That may be a 3550 backhoe.
I have one also. if you need any information off of my tags let me know. Here is a thread about mine. I think it contains photos of the serial number tags.

Napa makes hoses but they are pricey.
Google. ,the surplus center, and look under ,hydraulics
