2013 TYM 433 OR 2015 Branson 4520- BOTH CABS

Guys need your opinions- Found these 2 cab tractors- the TYM has 250 hrs and the Branson 450 hrs- If service records are good which is a better tractor- Both are Syncro shift- I will be mowing about 12 acres of hilly terrain and snow plowing a 1/4 mile dirt road-
Since I have no dealers near me is one more reliable than the other- Also after doing alot of reading here seems that folks like the Hydro better for mowing- Is there a problem using the syncro for mowing??- thanks for all the advice=-

HST lets you change speed easily while mowing, and the PTO stays at speed. With gears you have to shift, and the PTO speed will drop in the process. You're limited to the ground speed that engine at PTO rpm gets you in that gear. Whether that's bothersome depends on the mowing you are doing. For me, on very hilly terrain and mowing a number of small areas, HST is the way to go. If you're mowing big areas of consistent vegetation where you're taking long runs back and forth gears would probably be ok.

With the Branson, having access to a good dealer who will ship parts is a good idea. Big Red has an on line parts database but it's not as good as Messick's. I don't know the parts situation with TYM but I expect it's about the same and you want to have a good dealer.
