Hi Steve,
I saw you finished your hydraulic ramps for your trailer and commented already on your thread. they turned out really nice. Since I'm so broke now, maybe you can make me a set?:)

The Blazer is long gone to the junkyard now. I had some of the most memorable times while using that truck. I hunted all over the Western states in that Blazer in all kinds of country and weather. I will miss that truck dearly.

After Loretta has her Tractor and she gets on this forum Rob might not be allowed to post or even be allowed on line ftm.

I will have to watch suggesting to Rob to use the dish washer for tractor projects.

Tom,
I saw all your dishwasher comments and I'll tell you, you crack me up.

Sorry for the lag in the updates, but I have been so busy with very little time to post.
You guys know I had Larry out for a week, Loretta's new tractor and a bunch of implements came in, I fixed my front drive on the Kama, we got all the appliances and bath tubs trailered up etc, etc.
On top of that, we had wind, rain, hail and snow at the property. It was hectic!

We got snow during Larry's camping visit. This may be no big deal for a lot of you guys, but it's a rare occasion out here in California. Our elevation at the homesite is only 1,600 feet. It's 200 feet higher than the rest of our property.

Rob, in Kansas is snows at all of the elevations. Supposed to get into the 40's today, maybe we can get rid of some of this white crap.

Since I've got so many photos, I'll be jumping around to show the progress on various items. Bear with me.
The well guy came up to connect the well to the 5,000 gallon water storage tank. He put in a 4" fire hydrant fitting and a 2" fitting for some irrigation. I used my backhoe to dig the trench earlier.

Also shown is the trench work and fire hydrant itself which is about 100 feet from the residence. This is a requirement in this county and even more important is that the fire marshal knows you have this available for him in case of a fire. He will then make an effort to save the home.

Iv;e got a few photos of the septic tank, distributer manifold and leach field going in. It's a 1,200 gallon septic tank and 3 lines of leach field. The design and percolation tests were done about 2 years ago.

We didn't skimp on our water lines either.
We ran 2" all the way to the barn, house and garage. Even to the exterior water spigots all around the buildings. These lines are pressurized/ They come right from the well and bladder tank, and not the water tank.

Rob, I see a lot of galvanized steel pipe connected to brass valves.
Aren't you concerned about electrolytic action damaging the steel?
Does your plumbing inspector allow these connections without
dielectric unions?
