Brandi,
They were shooting for 6" thick but it turned out more than that. I will be using that building to run my business out of and I have heavy machining equipment that needs to be bolted to the floor.
Kent and Eddie,
Those guys are very good with their detail work. They trace out the logs and cut to fit.
I am very pleased with their work.
Tom,
Sealing the floors was an small added cost, but I think well worth it. All the sheetrock and texture in the garage was included though. One thing I really like about Meeker is he quoted top notch stuff so there was no quibbling about upgrades everywhere. You will do alright with him.

The views are amazing Rob. If I were you, move in day couldn't come soon enough. What is the small 2 foot wall for in the second to last photo? plumbing vents to the roof?
Good eye!
There's a funny story behind that wall.
Originally, that was supposed to be a closet wall going across that entire wall. We did not have a sectional view of that closet, only a top or plan view, so I missed it when viewing the drawings. But when they started to frame the closet, I told them to build a "real" closet that we could walk in. Those would've been good for the seven dwarves.
We left a short wall there and will put shelving behind it for books or whatever. They had already cut the logs for the sheetrock to fit in so we had to cover it up and left that wall there. It's like that in both upstairs rooms. The shelves won't be too bad once we get a sitting/reading are near it.
