Rob, when are you going to start moving your machine shop up to 3r? With the shop almost done it looks like you could start anytime. The house looks to be coming along very nicely too.:p
Bill,
We've started moving several boxes of stuff up to the barn. Mainly so we can get the house in shape to sell. The machine shop is next. I need to pack all my instruments and gauges. Not sure if I can move the machinery myself or if I need to hire a machinery mover. I've had machinery movers move my other factories, but I had way more equipment back then.

The home is coming along nicely now. We still have to get the granite counter tops, paint, lights and fans and flooring done.

Rob,

That tall grass makes it look like a totally different place. Of course, by looking at the roads, there's no doubt it's your land. Nobody has nicer roads then you do!!!!!

Eddie
What a great compliment Eddie, thank you!

Rob, will the forklift at the house pick up and move the equipment? I thought you might start by taking a piece of equipment each trip up to 3R? Will your trailer handle the weight? And will the Kama unload it when you get to 3R? What is the heaviest piece of machinery that you have? Is the barn wired and ready to accept the equipment? Also wondered if you've been welding with the solar equipment providing the electricity and how that worked out.;)

Rob,this place is wonderful. It's nice to know that folks can still achieve their dreams in this day and time. You two have done this on your own hard work and will and the result is commendable. That property is fantastic.
Looks like there's room for an 18 hole course there, work should start in June.

If I come out from Maryland and help you move your shop can I live there?.:D

Rob,
If your Kama can't lift your machinery, let me know and I will bring the Big RED Beast out there to help.;)

Charlie and Steve,
Thank you for the compliments on the property, but the Big Guy upstairs is responsible for it's beauty. We're just borrowing it for now.:)
Steve, I tried to hit some 5 irons down the road. Hit 5 shots and lost 4 balls!

Bill,
My forklift at home has a 5,500lb capacity and can move everything except the big lathe. I can get everything off with the Kama or block and tackle and roll them into place on machinery casters. My trailer only has a 7,500 lb capacity, so the lathe is the only machine I will need help with. It goes nearly 8,000lbs dry. It's a good thing I don't have the really big CNC horizontal boring mills anymore.

Brandi, how nice of you.
I'll take you up on your offer to lift that one. I didn't know Big Red had that much lift capacity. My plan is to move it in June or July.
So when can you come over for that?:)

Rob, My trailer has 12,000lb capacity. You are welcome to borrow it anytime or I can help you tow it there. I go up to my farm about once month and it's on my way.
