On my
L5030, I don't seem to have any issues finding or depressing the diff lock. However, I am a pretty fair sized guy, and I have my seat pushed back as far as it will go, which I think helps align the back of my boot with the lever.
I tend to use my diff lock quite a bit, as I don't run in 4x4 unless I really need it, but mine don't feel stiff or hard to engage.
Installing a seat safety switch bypass sounds like a good idea, but for different reasons. On occasion, I need to raise up in my seat to shift cheeks so to speak, doing so cuts the tractor off. Very annoying for sure. Having a switch I could momentarily switch off would be great. I think this gets added to my list of things to do.
