I agree the 45' is too long. I had a 25' that was just right that had 25,000# gvwr. It was sitting on tandem duals.
Like the others said weigh your truck first then do the math. Say your truck has a 24,000# max gcvwr and the truck weighs 9,000 then you 15,000# to play with.
Same thing with a trailer. Say you get a 25,000# trailer like I had. It weighed 6,000# so it had a usable load of 19,000#.
