Another -What box blade to get- thread

Yeah, on one hand it'll be great ballast, but on the other hand I'm cringing at the thought of what I'm going to, eventually, hit with it! To-date I've done really good about not hitting my implements on things I don't want to hit, but as I get older I know that this will become more of a struggle! I've sought to mitigate this by installing cameras (and a monitor)- but, I suppose, these are yet more things that one can get distracted by! :laughing:

Seems like this has drug on forever (pardon the pun!), but I finally got a box blade:

After determining that my rear wheels were set at their maximum width that meant that a 6 1/2' blade would have just cleared and that a 7' blade was in fact the better choice. The scarifiers look like cheap chinesium; hoping that they'll hold up for a bit (I don't have much in the way of hard stuff anyway). It'll be a while before I get around to setting it up and using it.

What is the thickness of the square tubing used for the scarifiers?

5/8" according to their specs.

IF I was going to buy an M7060 Kubota, The dealer recommended the Gearmore 4G4-84, weighs 1400 LBS. Looks like it does not have a floating tailgate.

Might want to double-check as I do believe that the Gearmmores have the floating tailgate. If you do get a larger tractor PM me and I can point you at another box blade option.
