Anyone drilled a hole in the end of a pallet fork

ANSI has some strong rules regarding overhead guard modifications .
There is a product called DAGS that mounts to forks magnetically, rubber covered to keep loads from slipping.

If the OSHA people ever saw some of the crazy stuff people do with forklifts they would probably outlaw them completely. :confused2:

Excellent attachment there! Using both forks for weight distribution, no modifications to the forks and easy on/off. I’m liking that one!

The only thing missing is some ropes to the steering wheel and something to control speed and direction. I saw Mr. Bean do that.

when i was a teen, my dad would go on the pallet to change light bulbs and i would run the lift. haha!

We built a frame that has the hitch on the outer end of it for lifting tongues so as not to bend the forks unevenly. We have done that!

I often say there is not as much abuse of equipment as there is equipment being used in a manner that was not considered when designing
